Ukrainian AJC exports reach 4-year low
Ukraine has significantly reduced exports of apple juice concentrate (AJC) in the season 2015/16, and, according to Fruit-Inform, they have reached 4-year low.
Ukraine’s exports went down by 25% and totaled just 76,000 tons in the season 2015/16 against reaching 95,000 tons a season before.
Total exports fell due to lower shipments to the EU countries, main importers of AJC from Ukraine. Ukrainian exporters shipped 59,000 tons of AJC to the EU in the season 2015/16, a decrease of 30% year-on-year due to rather high supply of domestic produce in the EU market.
