Prices of apples for processing up in Poland
Polish growers have been actively raising their prices of apples for processing, which have already exceeded last year’s levels.
For the present, farms sell their apples to processors at 0.06-0.07 euro/kg, an increase of 16% week-on-week.
Growers manage to raise their prices thanks to processors’ high demand for apples. It should also be noted that current prices of apples for processing are averagely 12% higher year-on-year in Poland.
