Fruit and vegetable prices continue to grow in Ukraine

Fruit-Inform Ukrainian fresh produce price index has grown by another 4.5% in the week from September 17^th to 23^rd, after an increase of 3.8% a week before.

The price growth was again connected with more expensive seasonal vegetables. Meanwhile, the fresh fruit price index slightly went down last week due to lower prices of lemons. Prices of other fruits were stable.

For the first time over long period, prices of traditional vegetables have been stable thanks to steady supply and demand balance in the Ukrainian market. Potato prices also did not change last week.
