Crimea: cucumber prices down
Sellers at Crimean wholesale markets are forced to reduce their cucumber prices, which are rapidly going down now, according to Fruit-Inform.
In the meantime, cucumbers are offered at RUB 130-180/kg (USD 2.19-3.03/kg) at Krymskiy Privoz Wholesale Market, depending on variety and quality, a fall of 22-23% week-on-week.
Sellers were unable to sell all their stocks during the holidays. As a result, their quality is rapidly worsening, and prices are falling.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that they are still 15% higher year-on-year. However, the local market participants expect prices to continue to go down in the peninsula.
