Ukraine: prices of early apples significantly higher year-on-year

Prices of Ukrainian early apples have been gradually going down under conditions of a seasonal increase in supply, according to Fruit-Inform. Nevertheless, they are still significantly higher compared with those registered in the same period of the previous year.

Early apples have become 13% less expensive since the beginning of this week, and now fruit farms offer them at UAH 7-13/kg (EUR 0.23-0.43/kg), depending on fruit size, variety and quality. Meanwhile, current prices of Ukrainian early apples are still 30-40% higher year-on-year.
