Poland: prices of apples for processing 5 times as high as a year before
Prices of apples for processing have been growing in Poland, and now processors are ready to buy raw apples at prices averagely 5 times as high as a year before, according to Fruit-Inform.
Now prices are not lower than 0.19 euro/kg, while in the end of the past week they varied between 0.17-0.20 euro/kg. Processors are forced to raise their purchase prices due to lack of supply of raw apples in the Polish market. We would remind you that prices of apples for processing did not exceed 0.05 euro/kg in the same period of the previous year.
