Ukraine's government might reconstruct Ilyiechevsk seaport, drawing an EBRD credit
According to governmental sources, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers at its next sitting is going to consider the question of realisation of the project "Infrastructure Development of Ilyichevsk Trading Seaport". It is planned to draw a credit from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the purpose.
The project stipulates reconstruction of the port's berths with the aim of increasing the shipping capacity, by way carrying out the bottom-deepening works, repairs of the port structures and replacement of communication lines.
Estimated worth of the project is 46.1 million euros. Of these the EBRD credit is going to constitute 24.5 million euros and contribution of Ukraine - 21.5 million euros.
