A Khlib Ukrainy affiliate failed to meet its grain supply obligations
A representative of one of the trading companies, who asked it not to be named, told APK-Inform that Affiliate Company Volochisk Milling Plant, subordinated to the state grain market operator "Khlib Ukrainy", had not fulfilled its obligations to supply grain to several large companies.
According to the contracts, these companies bought certain amounts of barley and wheat from Volochisk plant, having also paid for corresponding transportation services. The plant undertook to make the supplies, but has failed to meet these obligations due to absence of the commodities on its premises. Now the plant management is absent from the premises and unavailable for contact, said the interlocutor.
It the past similar complaints concerning this plant have already been made by some other companies, being referred, among other, to Ukrainian Grain Association (UZA).
The unsatisfied companies have applied to UZA with an appeal to bring a legal action against the milling plant.
