Shipments of grains through Odessa port decreased 23 pc in Jan.-Nov.
According to operative data of management of Odessa Trading Seaport, in January-November 2004 the port decreased shipments of cargos 9.7 percent compared with the same period of 2003 - to 27.534 million tonnes. The shipments of bulk loads decreased 3.4 percent over the period - to 11.065 million tonnes.
In January-November 2004 the port handled 1.397 million tonnes of grain cargos, which is 23.3 percent less than in the same period last year, and 0.6 million tonnes of raw sugar (66.7 percent less).
