2001 is rich in numerous positive shifts - Louzan says
Summarizing achievements of the year 2001, Yuriy Louzan, the State Secretary First Deputy of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, stated that this year was not bad at all for agriculture. Firstly, an approximate 10% growth of GDP was declared.
Secondly, Louzan commented that in general Ukrainian consumer received more and better foodstuffs. Production of grain crops, sugar and livestock went up over the previous year. According to Louzan, numerous problems of food and processing industries have been resolved.
