Ukrainian farmers getting more credits this year

Since the start of the year till March 18 Ukrainian agrarians got credits for the total worth of 1.088 billion hryvnias (1 hryvnia = $0.1887), which is almost 58 percent more than in the same period last year.

744 millions hryvnias account for privileged credits, including 596 millions hryvnias of short-term credits and 148 millions hryvnias of long-term ones.

According to Agrarian Policy Ministry, average interest rates for the credits, granted to farmers, vary from 16 to 27 percent.
