UAH 350 mn worth of debts to private creditors remain unpaid by State JSC Khlib Ukrainy
The JSC Khlib Ukrainy (KU) owes commercial banks and other non-governmental entities makes up UAH 350 mn of the total UAH 1.3 bn, said Leonid Kozachenko, the Vice-Premier on issues of AIC.
According to him, the KU's "turnover" (obviously the volume of sales and service provided) last year made up only UAH 142 mn.
"This company is practically idle", commented the Vice-Premier on such a low indicator, stating at the same time that the main assets of the KU allows to annually generate from sales and service UAH 3 bn.
It is interesting to know that UK's property is worth UAH 1.4 bn, with grain storage capacity - 7 bn MT, and grain processing facilities - 4 bn MT. IN addition, two port elevators are owned by UK.
Kozachenko also said that the plan for readjustment and restructuring UK will be prepared in the next few days and submitted for the Cabinet's review.
