Greenhouse tomatoes got up in price again
According to the information provided by Anatoliy Yarovoy, the Price Monitoring Specialist of Agricultural Marketing Project, the prices on tomatoes have risen today on the wholesale market "Farmer", Kyiv.
The average price on greenhouse tomatoes of Ukrainian origin increased approximately on USD $ 0.13/kg comparing to the yesterday's price, as a result of the significant excess of the demand over supply; the price fluctuated within USD $ 1.92-2.11/kg. The prices on Turkish tomatoes remained stable - on the level of USD $ 1.98/kg. We'd note that increase of hryvnya rate can make the prices on Turkish tomatoes even more competitive.
