Radish grew expensive dramatically in Kherson oblast
As a result of the boom demand caused by the coming holidays, the prices on the locally produced radish have increased today rapidly in Kherson oblast. It was reported by Roman Rybalko, the Price Monitoring Specialist of the Agricultural Marketing Project.
Yesterday the wholesale parties of this commodity were sold on USD $ 0.65-0.79/kg on "Kopani" market, today the price grew up to USD $ 0.99-1.09/kg. So it is quite possible that tomorrow the wholesale prices on this commodity will increase in Kyiv too.
As Roman said, radish is actively purchased by the companies and intermediaries from the different regions of Ukraine. A week ago on "Kopani" market the main purchases of the early commodities were the wholesalers from Donetsk region; for today the buyers are coming from other places too.
