European Commission prohibited import of poultry from Russia and Kazakhstan

European Commission has approved a decision to prohibit import of poultry from Russia and Kazakhstan due to the registered cases of bird flue infection of poultry in the mentioned countries.

The ban comes into force starting from August 12.
