Former head of Ukraine's committee for state reserves put in detention
According to web-resource www.for-ua.com, former head of Ukraine's Committee for State Reserves Mykola Pesotsky was arrested and put into detention isolator September 7. The information was released by Yuri Boychenko, a spokesman for Ukraine's General Prosecutor's Office.
"The issue of keeping in jail as a restriction measure [for Mr. Pesotsky] is being decided now", Yuri Boychenko was cited as saying.
He said that criminal case had been started against ex-head of the committee as early as on July 22. He is being accused of office abuse resulting in grave consequences.
