Seasonal price decrease on vegetables continues in Ukraine - the Ministry of Economics

In the first decade of October the price decrease on vegetable commodities continued in Ukraine, as it was reported by the PR and Mass Media Department of the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine.

According to the data of the price monitoring conducted by the state price control bodies, in the period from 09/30/05 till 10/10/05 the average price levels have decreased - on 3.1% on cabbage (down to USD 0.2/kg), 1.2% on carrot (USD 0.3/kg), 0.6% on bulb onion (USD 0.3/kg), on 1.5% red beets (USD 0.2/kg).

At the same time the average price levels on potato have increased 0.9% in Ukraine during the mentioned period of time (USD 0.22/kg).
