Retail price on potato increased 12% this month
Potato price continued growing in the first half of November; the Agricultural Marketing Project has already reported about potato deficit on Ukrainian markets. The most rapid price increase was observed in the southern regions of Ukraine. Price stabilized in the second half of the month under the influence of increased potato supplies.
At the present moment an average retail price on potato fluctuates within USD 0.43-0.49/kg. The lowest potato prices (USD 0.33-0.39/kg) are observed in the central regions of Ukraine, the highest prices are up to 0.58/kg in the South of the country.
