Ukraine: sales of chickens and eggs banned in 7 areas of Kherson Oblast
In 7 rural areas of Kherson Oblast, adjacent to the Crimea, a ban has been introduced for sales of chicken meat and eggs in all treading outlets except for specialised for the purpose, Head of Kherson Regional Veterinary Department Serhiy Kobets said on Friday.
He said that the ban had been introduced in Genichesk, Kalanchak, Skadovsk, Novotroitskoye, Chaplinka, Golaya Pristan and Belozerka raions.
The ban will be in effect until bird flu quarantine in the Crimea has been lifted.
