January frosts' impact on fruit trees in Ukraine - Institute of Orcharding

According to the data provided by the Institute of Orcharding, frosts damaged the reproductive buds of fruit trees in Ukrainian Steppe: apricot and peach acreages are damaged 98-100%, sweet cherry 42-50%. The information was shared by the Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine on the 15th of February.

In Polissya and Forest-Steppe zones the reproductive buds of apple trees are injured 5-10%, pear - 8-15%, apricot - 25-80%, sour cherry - 20-35%, sweet cherry - 25-45%.
