APK-Inform received the information from Vasyl Soroka, the AIC Department Chief responsible for crop marketing and seed development saying that 9,131 MT of chemicals have been purchased as of Apr 29th. Ukrainian farmers, he believes, have sufficient supply of chemicals for this season.
He also said that all crucial issues in terms if planting campaign have been resolved and that presently more efforts should be paid to taking care of what has already been planted. Another burning issue is preparing the equipment for harvesting.
