"Borsch" vegetables cost 20% more in Moscow comparing to Kyiv

Moscow citizens have to pay for so-called "borsch" vegetables in average 20% more comparing to Kyiv people, according to the estimation done by "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly journal. The Food Resources Department reported that vegetable prices grew 22% in February in Moscow. In March the rates of price growth on potato and vegetables slowed down, but in the whole the prices are still getting up.

Since the beginning of February carrot prices have increased 30%, onion 20%, red beets 12%; however, potato and cabbage prices remained relatively stable in Kyiv.
