Grain crop losses reaching US $72mn
Interfax Ukraina reported that Ukraine's AIC Minister Serhiy Ryzhouk announced the tentative assessment of losses in crop production revealing US $72mn as a potential loss while talking to the grain market meeting past Friday.
He said that 2mn ha of 15mn grain crops acreage totally damaged or are in critical condition.
Southern Oblasts were severely stroke by disaster.
Generally in Ukraine 13mn ha or 87% of the total grain crop are in good and satisfactory condition.
