New trademark of tinned produce "Bon Kherson!" has appeared in Ukraine
According to information of ADME.RU site, one more trademarr of the tinned produce has appeared in Ukraine. The advertisement agency "ISKRA" developed this trademark on request of "Ridna Marka" corporation.
The developers of the new TM "Bon Kherson" say that it reflects a favorable geographical origin of the produce; the name of the produce wishes the consumers bon appetit. It has the distinguished rhythm; the very core of the brand is that it is "the best suppliment to main course". The logo "narrates" about the motherland of the best Ukrainian vegetables - sunny Kherson oblast. This oblast is called the produce capital of Ukraine thanks to the good graces of the specialists of the Agricultural Marketing Project. The preparation to the launch of the new trademark started in fall 2006. The brand concept, naming, logo and labels for 28 assortment items and three groups of the products (tinned vegetables, sauses and juices) have been developed at a record short period of time - during only two months.
According to information provided by "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal, around 80-90 new canneries have started to work during four recent years in Ukraine. Most of them are trying to introduce their own trademarks on market. However, any of new market players has not been able yet to seriosly affect the position of the market leaders - trademarks "Veres" and "Chumak". According to the forecast done by Andriy Yarmak, the Deputy Director of the Agricultural Marketing Project, this season the competition on market will significantly grow. It may lead to a large-scale process of industry consolidation in hands of the owners of the strongest brands. To the expert's opinion, the entrance of "Ridna Marka" corporation with the own trademark to this segment of the produce business can add to the dynamics of the tinned produce market development.
