Ukraine restructured $732,000 grain debt to Georgia for 20 years

Ukraine has restructured Georgia its debt for formerly supplied grain in the amount of US$732,000 on the term of 20 years. The agreement about it was signed in Tbilisi on Wednesday by representatives of Georgian government and the state holding "Khleb Ukrainy" (Bread of Ukraine), following a session of bilateral commission on economic cooperation, Head of the state holding Nikolai Kucher told reporters.

As Mr. Kucher explained, the bilateral agreement stipulated Georgian grain debt restructuring for the years 2001-2021 under three percent of interest. Georgian party is to settle its debt by quarterly instalments.
