Ukraine: Agrarian Ministry to develop livestock market
Ministry of Agrarian Policy has developed measures aimed at stabilization and further development of livestock products markets, Deputy State Secretary for agrarian ministry Yuri Melnik told reporters Wednesday.
In particular, the ministry is being developing a programme to stimulate livestock products quality improvement and their promotion into export markets. Besides, Melnik said that an issue was currently under consideration of expanding in 2003 state support of domestic prices through the increase in government subsidizing the industry and introduction of export grants on priority products.
