Estonia is interested to purchase wholesale shipments of Ukrainian onion

The "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal reports that the circle of the importers of Ukrainian onion is gradually extending. The specialists pointed out previously that the wholesale shipments of the national onion were supplied to Poland, Russia, Romania and Moldova. As of today, the list of onion importers has been extended by Estonia. Moreover, the market players observe that the situation has livened up insignificantly on the inner market too. They say that the demand for onion is a little bit higher today if compared to the previous week. The owners of the quality produce have increased the sales prices 7-10% on average.

At the same time, the owners of the non-specialized premises for onion storage took an opportunity to activate the sales process - they decided not to reconsider the sales prices for onion. These vendors are selling the product for up to $0.15-0.18/kg.

Most market players do not expect the market situation to change crucially soon. They say that the prices will stay within the limits of the present price range; the excessive produce supply on market will restrain the price growth.
