Orchardists most actively invest to apple, peach and sweet cherry orchards extension

"Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal" conducts the survey focused on the perspectives of the produce business development in 2007; the preliminary results of the survey prove that the farmers - orchardists are the most interested in apple, peach and sweet cherry orchards extension.

The half of the respondents will extend the acreage of apple orchards this year. The farmers from Zakarpattya and the central regions of Ukraine are extending the apple orchards the most actively. More than 40% of the polled producers-orchardists will increase the acreage of peach orchards, more than 30% of the respondents will extend sweet cherry orchards. Practically no one give up producing these crops.
