Ukraine: $4.7mln VAT refunded to grain traders over two weeks
Over a fortnight's period preceding August 6, grain traders were refunded an equivalent of about $4.7 million of VAT, Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Kozachenko told journalists. He said at the moment government was working hard to solve the issue. Main achievement as of today he thinks is VAT refund schedules approval. "According to these schedules, the debt will be repaid within a year. That means that until mid-2003 the process will have been finished," he said.
