Total value of pesticide imports to Ukraine will be $115mln
Agrarian ministry forecasts Ukraine will import in 2002 pesticides on the total value of $115 million (in contractual prices). The ministry's forecast was cited by representatives of company Ukragroservis August 13 at a seminar, devoted to advanced technologies in plant protection chemicals application, held in Donetsk region. The seminar was attended by representatives of leading companies - producers of fertilizers and pesticides - DowAgroSciences, Dupont, Cargill, Crompton Uniroyal Chemical and others - who made their presentations on the issue.
