Price growth for high quality sweet cherry is observed in Ukraine

The specialists of CIS produce business periodical, ""Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal", inform about the reducing volumes of high quality sweet cherry supply on the inner market. The producers explain this circumstance by the finishing season of sweet cherry harvesting; most of them consider the current season to be rather successful.

The demand for high quality sweet cherry is still on the high level, so the sellers lift the prices with no fear to affect the sales. As of today, the sales prices reach $2.2-3/kg depending on quality, variety, shipment size and region where the sales are performed. At the same time, medium quality sweet cherry is supplied for lower prices ($1-1.6/kg); however, this produce also continues to enjoy high demand among the buyers.
