SANDORA to increase 35% production volumes in the first half of 2007
Press-release of SANDORA company informs that the volumes of production and sales of the products (juices+wine) constituted 247.4 mln. of liters in the first half of 2007. This result is 35.5% higher comparing to the same period of time past year. The volumes of product manufacturing in cardboard increased 31.7%, in PET packing -746.4%. The volumes of exporting sales increased 38.8% comparing to the first half of 2006; they reached the level of 61 mln. liters.
Such active growth rates became possible due to the enhancement of the production capacities of the company and the implementation of the marketing strategy for 2007 focused on the updating of the key brands portfolio of the company.
Since the beginning of 2007 four new production lines have been installed in the production complex #2. One of them packs the products into 1 l Tetra-Pack packages with the capacity of 5,500 packages/hour. There are also two Tetra-Pack packing lines for 1 liter and 0.5 liter packages of the capacity 7,000 packages/hour each. And, PET line operates filling 0.38 l and 0.4 л l bottles; its capacity is 24,000 bottles/hour. As of today, the capacity of the production complex #2 of SANDORA company is 346 mln. liters per year. The company specialists forecast that the production complex #2 will reach its designed capacity of 670 mln. items of products per year by the end of 2007. This achievement will help increase 50% the production capacity of LLC SANDORA in general.
Starting from late 2006 - early 2007 all trademarks of SANDORA company have been or are now in the process of renewal. For example, the strategic brand of the company trademarks' portfolio, "SANDORA" TM, has been manufactured in more modern and convenient format Tetra Prizma Aseptic package. This fact had an undoubted effect on the trademark sales (32.9% growth) comparing to the first half of 2006. There are two new types of packages: 2 l for family needs and Prizma (0.5 l) for "eat-and-go" consumption. Now the trademark is produced in the packages of 2, 1.5, 1, 0.5 and 0.25 liters. Also, the trademark assortment was extended by two flavors: pink guava nectar and piquant tomato. In March 2007 new image campaign of "Sandora" trademark called "100% of life" was launched.
The more sophisticated and premium-like design of "Sandora Exclusive" TM package contributed to 21.9% growth of sales rates. "Sadochok" TM occupied 23.7% share of the market in the end of 2006; now it switched to a new Tetra Slim Aseptic 1 liter Slim Cap package. This is the only trademark in its price segment, which provides the unique convenience of the package to its consumers. As a result, this product showed the unprecedented sales growth of 51.1% comparing to the same period of time in 2006 on Ukrainian market in the first half of 2007. Kid-oriented trademark "Sandorik' showed 12% sales growth as well.
Early May 2007 SANDORA company introduced a totally new brand and product, "SANDAY" cold tea; its assortment is presented by three flavors in PET 0.4 l packages.
The active growth of the sales of the company trademarks was also supported by the increased BTL programs (more than 40%) in the key retail and image projects in HoReCa area focused on the consolidation of the loyalty to both the establishment and the trademark.
