To the opinion of the analysts of CIS produce business periodical, "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly, the relatively high price level for fruits together with the perspective price growth for apple this season will support the increase of the imports of bananas and other exotic fruits (citrus fruits in particular) in Ukraine.
During first six months of the current year Ukraine has imported 21.5% more bananas than at the same period of time past year and 34% more than in the first half of 2005.
