More than a half of visitors of www.fruit-inform.com portal plan to participate in the conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2007. Meeting New Leader"

The poll was conducted among the visitors of www.fruit-inform.com, the most frequently attended fruit&vegetable portal in CIS. It proved that 51% of visitors plan to participate in the fourth international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2007. Meeting New Leader", which will be conducted on the 4th-6th of December 2007 on the territory of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine" in Kyiv. Moreover, 36% of the respondents will participate in the event for sure.

Around 10% of players doubt if they are able to participate in the event, although such possibility still exists. 12% of the respondents say that they have no information about the conference (but, the same question contains the link where this information is located).

The participant's fee for this event is too high for approximately 16% of the portal visitors. Despite of this fact, not less than 40% the conference participants will be fruit&vegetable producers. Also, the conference participant's fee for the producer approximately corresponds to the profit generated from the sales of most types of fresh produce grown on 100 sq. m.. This is not an obstacle for any professional producer.

Only 10% of the respondents checked the box that they will surely not participate in the conference; and 2% said they have already known everything about the market, so this event is probably of no interest to them.

Despite of the fact that these data can not be representative, they confirm the trends observed now in the process of conference participants' registration. At the present moment the rates of registration outpace the past year rates approximately 30-35%. Israeli company Netafim, the leading supplier of drip irrigation systems, greenhouse technologies and hi-tech solutions for the modern fruit&vegetable production will be the general sponsor of the conference. The conference is also sponsored by Unifer, Phytomag, and Olvita companies.

Such recognized companies and organizations, like IFC, Altracon B.V. (the representative of Greefa and Besseling), Crimean Fruit company, Asa-Lift, Dupont, Ghent Supply (Orchard Rite), StePac (X-tend), All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute named after I. V. Michurin, Chlodnie KA Baranski, AWETA, Brematech and others will make presentations in the framework of the conference. In addition to the abovementioned registered participants, such well-known firms like BASF, Bayer, Nunhems, Vitmark-Ukraine (ТМ "Jaffa"), Craft Foods Ukraine, Kuehne + Nagel, Stara Fortetsya, Umanskiy greenhouse complex and others have already applied for participation in the conference.
