Ukraine: canned vegetables exports continue beating records

According to information provided by CIS fruit & vegetable business periodical "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits", in October Ukraine exported 34,400 tons of canned fruits & vegetables. This was a new record for the exports of this type of products during one month.

During first 10 months of this year the exported volumes of canned vegetables, fruits, berries, fruit and vegetable juices, jams, puree, marmalade, ketchup and sauce have exceeded 16% the total volumes of exported products in 2006. So, according to the forecasts done by the analysts of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits", the results of this year are as follows: the volumes of canned fruit and vegetable exports may exceed 35-45% the past year benchmarks.
