Poland: champignons have got almost twice expensive during this year!

The analysts of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly inform, champignon prices have increased 90% in Poland comparing to the previous year. This fact is predetermined by the considerable price increase for this product on the inner market and in the other EU countries.

At the present moment the wholesale shipments of Polish champignon are sold for $3-4/kg, and oyster mushroom - for $3-5.2/kg. To compare - champignon prices fluctuate $2.2-2.6/kg on Kyiv wholesale market; oyster mushroom is rarely offered for sale. Past year the prices for champignon were 10-15% lower in Kyiv; however, the price level 10-20% exceeded the champignon prices in Poland that time.
