Russian Agricultural Inspection extended the list of stations in Pakistan allowed to ship citrus fruits to Russia. The authority also allowed the supplies of plant products by one of the enterprises of Holland and banned the supply of soybean meal from this country.
Agrobel.By informs, in the period November 20th till December 26th 2007 the specialists of Russian Agricultural Inspection enquired a number of Pakistan stations of citrus fruits handling and packing. As a result, 14 stations obtained the right to ship citrus fruits to Russian market as the facilities able to provide the correspondence to the international and Russian phyto-sanitary requirements.
Other stations obtain the same right under the condition that the Department of Plant Protection, the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Industry of Pakistan provides Russian Agricultural Inspection with the written guarantee about the control of international and Russian phyto-sanitary requirements applied for the supplies of citrus fruits to Russia.
Also, this Department should submit to Russian Agricultural Inspection the full list of stations allowed to ship citrus fruits to Russian Federation, and it should manage the work of the stations in correspondence with the recommendations of Russian inspection service.
Russian Agricultural Inspection also lifted the ban for the supplies of plant products by Dutch enterprise EG 5009. The supplies were banned on the 31st of October 2007. This decision is made after the national service of quarantine and plant protection of Netherlands guaranteed the observance of the requirements set by Russian legislation for the supplies of plant products to Russia.
