"Agama-Trade" to construct plant in Kyivskaya region

"Agama-Trade" company, the producer of flash frozen products in Ukraine, announced the tender on the construction of the own production facilities. The future enterprise will be located in Kyivskaya region; the square will amount to 2,000 sq. meters.

The Press Service of the company informed LIGABusinessInform that the launch of the own production facilities let "Agama-Trade" increase up to 30% the coverage of Ukrainian market of flash frozen products according to the results of 2008. Five construction firms of Kyiv are planned to participate in the tender. The total sum of the investments to the project will amount to around $ 3 mln; according to calculations, the project will pay back in 3-5 years.

The production capacity of the enterprise will amount to 20 tons per day. The construction of the plant will start in March of the current year. "The launch of the production is planned for September. The future workshop will be designed for the final pre-sale handling of flash frozen products under trademarks "Agama" and "Bukhta Izobiliya", Vyacheslav Khorev, Executive Director of "Agama-Trade" informed.

LLC "Agama-Trade" was founded in 2001. This is one of the largest companies on the market of flash frozen products (shrimps, fish, seafood, confectionary, frozen meat, ready courses, berries, mushrooms, vegetables and vegetable mixes, bakery products, semi-ready products). There are seven filial enterprises on the territory of Ukraine: in Gorlovka, Dnepropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lvov, Odessa, Simferopol, and Kharkov. The turnover of the company amounted to $ 30 mln. in 2007.
