"Agrotekhnika Holding" company will start chips production

"Agrotekhnika Holding" company is extending its business in Georgia; in future it will purchase a land plot in Kareli to plant potato there, "Georgia Online" informs. The company intends to produce chips from this potato harvest.

To implement this project, the company plans to invest $3.5 mln. The chips production plant will be launched in two years. In addition to Georgian market, chips will be sold on Azerbaijani and Armenian markets.

Chips of "Agrotekhinka" company will be produced under "Karavani" name; the company has already registered this brand.
