Belkoopsoyuz plans the construction of new complexes for berry and vegetable flash freezing

In 2008 Belkoopsoyuz enterprises plan to finish the construction of a complex for flash frozen berries and vegetables production in Glusskiy district, Vladimir Kuleshov, the Chairman of the Board of Belkoopsoyuz informed BELTA yesterday.

There are such lines in the system of Belkoopsoyuz - they are located in Molodechnenskiy and Glubokskiy districts. The business-plan was developed in Glusskiy district in 2007; the construction of the warehouse started simultaneously with the project designing. The tender of the equipment purchase has been already conducted. There are $2.9 mln. allocated to the project financing. The investments amounted to $1.75 mln.; the bank loaned the funds worth to $650,000. The investment foundation of Belkoopsoyuz provided $ 500,000.

There is a plan to finish in 2009 the construction of the complex for flash freezing of berries and vegetables on the basis of Slutskiy district of Minskiy regional consumption union. In total the investments will amount to $ 1.25 mln.; in 2008 $500,000 will be invested by means of the bank loans. The new facility for flash frozen fruits & vegetables production will be created in 2009 in Ivanovskiy district of Brestskiy regional consumption union. There is a plan to raise $600,000 of the investments, which will also be the bank loans.
