Former owner of SANDORA company to start tomato business
Sergey Sypko, the former co-owner of SANDORA company is intended to create the complex for the production of tomatoes and tomato paste on the basis of OJSC "Inguletskiy" (village Snigirevka, Nikolayevskaya region).
The first meeting of "Inguletskiy" company was held in May; Mr. Sypko spoke during the event.
The entrepreneur has already possessed the majority shareholding; he is the member of the supervisory board, Korrespondent.net informs.
At the shareholders' meeting Mr. Sypko said that he was intended to invest around UAH 140 mln. ($29 mln.) during three years for the establishment of the complex for the production of tomatoes and tomato paste. There is a plan to set up the agri-holding on the basis of "Inguletskiy" company.
We'd like to remind that the privatization of the collective farm "Inguletskiy" by means of the corporatisation was finished in March; as a result, 25%+1 share remained the government property, and 75%-1 share were provided gratis for the members of the working team and the persons with the similar status.
Mr. Sypko with his son Alexey (the former brand-manager of TM "Sadochok") have already created the agricultural enterprise "Integrated Agri-system", which rents around 3,000 ha of the irrigated lands on the South of Nikolayevskaya and Khersonskaya regions; they plan to extend the acreage of the rented lands in future.
Earlier Mr. Sypko occupied the position of the General Director of LLC "Sandora" and owned 10% of the company.
We'd like to remind that in November 2007 the companies PepsiAmericas and PepsiCo finished the purchase of the rest 20% shares of LLC "Sandora".
