The producers of AR Crimea have already harvested 9,600 tons of fruits and berries

According to the results of the first half of 2008, all categories of the agricultural enterprises of AR Crimea have harvested 9,600 tons of fruits and berries, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of AR Crimea informs.

"RBC-Ukraine" informs, according to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Autonomous Republic has harvested 5,900 tons of fruits and 3,700 tons of berries during 6 months of 2008.

To the opinion of the specialists of "Fruit-Inform" project, the national fruit and berry growers have a chance to gather a good harvest this season. The weather is favorable at the present moment. If there are no severe temperature drops, the project forecasts that the total production of fruits and berries of Ukraine may increase 16% in 2008 comparing to the previous season.
