Poland: purchasing prices for industrial apple to decrease in three times compared to the last year

Fruit growers of Poland are not satisfied with the beginning of the season: prices for apple reduced in three times on an average. If during the same period last year processing enterprises (juice and concentrate producers) paid for industrial apple about $0.27/kg, this year prices do not exceed $0.09-0.1/kg. In the peak of the season, prices for industrial apple reached $0.45-0.46/kg.

As the analysts of "Fruit-Inform" informed this year Poland expects for significant increase of apple crop that causes reduction in prices for dessert and industrial apple. As well Ukraine will see significant fall of prices and production in this country will rise while import deliveries costs decrease.
