Agroinvest may spent $55 mln for development of fruit gardens in Kuban

The Russian-Italian company “Agroinvest” (Krasnodar Krai) intends to renew and lay fruit gardens in Mostovskiy region till 2010. According to the report of “Interfax-Yug”, the total cost of the project will be about $55 mln.

This year the company is to allocate $813.600, in 2007 it allocated $1.2 mln to establish 150 ha of gardens. In 2009, the company plans laying 150-200 ha of fruit gardens of intensive type, plant apple, plum, cherry-trees. In total, by 2010 the company is to restore and establish 400 ha of gardens.

At that, Agroinvest plans to create all necessary infrastructure for fruit storage and transportation in the region, Yuga.ru reported. The group of companies Agroinvest was established in 2006 in order to work agricultural projects in the South of Russia. The private persons from Russia, Italy and Great Britain became the company’s founders.
