Ukraine: Crimea harvested 17.500 tonnes of fruits

This year, the farms of all categories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea harvested 17.500 tonnes of fruits, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of the Republic.

According to the information from the Ministry, since the beginning of year 1.300 tonnes of grapes have been harvested in the Republic. In the Ministry noted that currently the works on chemical protection of perennial plants from pests and diseases are being carried out in the gardens and vineyards. To date, 170.000 ha of vineyards and 69.000 ha of gardens were processed.

This year, Crimea is to sow 2.200 ha of gardens and vineyards, RBK-Ukraine reported.
