Russia harvested potatoes throughout 53 % of lands

According to the press-cutting service of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, as of September 30, potatoes were harvested throughout 89.700 ha , that is 53 % from the plan. 1.7 mln. tonnes of potatoes were harvested with 193.3 c/ha yield.

Vegetables are harvested throughout 38.000 ha of lands, that is 42.5 % from the plan. 623.300 tonnes of vegetables are harvested with the average yield of 163.8 c/ha.

As of September 30, the resources of chemical fertilizers (taking into account the remains of 2007) totaled 2.016300 tonnes, up 268.300 tonnes compared to 2007.

According to the data, as of September 22, 2008, the agrarian producers purchased 1.63 mln tonnes of chemical fertilizers, up 207.200 tonnes from 2007.

As of September 26, 345.000 tonnes of diesel fuel and 105.000 tonnes of petrol were in stock in the farms of the regions (102 % to the level of 2007).
