Dagestan: melons and gourds harvesting to finish

According to the Department of plant growing of the Ministry of agriculture of Dagestan, harvest of melons and gourds has been finished, reported RIA”Dagestan”.

It was also reported that 9000 ha of areas were planted with these crops in 2008.

Almost 215.500 tonnes of melons and gourds were harvested with the yield of 239 c/ha, up 3.500 tonners compared to the last year.
