Ukraine can harvest more grape than expected

As of the end of September the enterprises of National production and agrarian union “Massandra” harvested more than 5.800 tonnes of grapes, that is 33 % of the plan. According to the report of the Union, the harvest plan of grapes totals 17.600 tonnes. At that, the enterprise hope to exceed the forecasted volume by a quarter and gather 23-24.000 tonnes of grape.

The representatives of “Massandra” reported that the current year was fruitful due to the favorable weather conditions. The harvesting campaign is to be finished till November 10, reported of News of Crimea.

Besides, it was informed that at the moment 590 tonnes of grapes were put into refrigerators and the plan volume of storage totals 2000 tonnes of grapes.
