Russia: the first crop of banana to be harvested in Lipetsk

The first crop of dessert bananas had begun to mature in the botanical gardens of the enterprise “Zelenchoz” in Lipetsk. These bananas are unique, and except Lipetsk, in Russia they mature only in the botanical gardens of Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, reported Sergei Glazinov, biologist of “Zelenchoz”.
