Makadamia is the most expensive nut

Makadamia is the most expensive nut throughout the world. Formerly, macadamia was the main food of aborigines, and now it is an exquisite and health-giving delicacy. Only 2 varieties of these nuts are cultivated, there are plantations in Australia, the South Africa, Hawaii and in the south of the USA. The annual production volume of this nut does not exceed 40 tonnes. The price of macadamia exceeds 21.9 euro/kg.
